Partnerships: How the HIV and Coordinated School Health Program Work Together
From the beginning of the Coordinated School Health funding in Colorado in 2003, an intentional effort was made to fold in the HIV program work as an integral partner. As an active member of the Interagency School Health Team, the HIV program is represented as an equal partner with physical activity, nutrition and tobacco prevention. We coordinate trainings, surveys, and marketing messages to address our School Level Impact measures together.
